The premises for IDPs on the territory of Mizhhirya community in the village of Vuchkove have already been reconstructed! It will soon be home to 32 people, mostly from the eastern regions, who lost their homes due to the war.
There are spacious rooms and showers for internally displaced persons. A well has been installed for uninterrupted water supply, and the power supply is being increased.
The project of our center “Reconstruction of housing for IDPs” was implemented thanks to the effective cooperation of Mizhhirya Community and Czech charitable organizations Člověk v tísni, People in Need and Přes hranice EU, which financed the repair work!
We are extremely grateful to Czech philanthropists Radim Kupec and Sonya Huberova, the head of the Mizhhirya community Vasyl Shchur, his deputies Hanna Voschepynets and Ivan Kost for the implementation of this large-scale project. As well as the head of the Center Vasyl Yuryk and coordinator Mykola Fetskolynets.
No matter how comfortable the temporary housing is, it will never replace your home.
We do believe that the day will come when all Ukrainians will be able to return to their own homes to live a peaceful and happy life again.
