We are increasing humanitarian cooperation with NGO Nehemiah Ukraine, which works in partnership with UNHCR!
Representatives of the organization visited two places of compact residence of IDPs in Mizhhirya Community.
People were informed about the prevention and countering of gender and domestic violence. The psychologist provided information about the services provided by the NGO Nehemiah to victims of violence.
Everyone had also received booklets with a list of services and their contacts that work in the field of protection against violence. A clear algorithm of actions was explained to people in case it happens.
Women and girls also received Dignity Kits from UNHCR — bags with useful items that have a symbolic meaning of protection. In addition, all internally displaced persons received hygiene kits and clothes from the Nehemiah NGO.
